I help people restore the balance of their bodies’ energy through the ancient science of Ayurvedic Medical Astrology. Keep reading to learn more about me and how I do my practice.
I have a BA in Art and Literature from the Río Piedras Campus of the University of Puerto Rico and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from California State University in Sacramento, California. Both are fundamental for the development of my knowledge in the field of Ayurvedic Medical Astrology. In my relentless search to discover natural forms of healing, I was certified in Ayurvedic Medical Astrology from the prestigious Astrologer and doctor of Ayurveda, Dr. David Frawley at the American Institute of Vedic Studies. At present, I continue my studies with the also renowned Astrologer Komilla Sutton, Co-founder of the British Association of Vedic Astrology (BAVA). I am also certified in Level 1 Reiki, Gemmotherapy, and Professional Jewelry.
At 20 years of age, I decided to become a vegetarian which completely changed my view on life. Since then I have been studying natural ways of addressing health conditions to help my family and others. I firmly believe in holistic health. I believe that every human being has a unique body with integral physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual energy. Therefore, the composition of each person’s body must be taken into consideration for the treatment of their individual health needs. I believe that allopathic or conventional medicine has fallen short of addressing the well-being of people by offering treatment for a single aspect of health or by fragmenting the human body into different specialties.
I consider Mother Earth to be a living being and our relationship with her helps us look at the world from a feminine, loving, compassionate, tender, and simple perspective. Due to my principles and out of love, I am an environmentalist. I love Atabeira (Mother Earth in the native language of our ancestors, Taíno) profoundly.
I firmly believe that cooperativism is the purest expression of the Universe. The Universe cooperates with living beings constantly. I co-found and presided over the Cooperativa Orgánica Madre Tierra which, I am very proud to say, has contributed to the development of organic farming in our country. I am co-owner of the Cooperativa Bohíque de Atabeira, presently in development, with the objective of creating a cooperative of holistic health services in Puerto Rico.
